The First Step Children’s Center
provided the project team with a challenge: the renovation of an
underutilized older building into a modern building that would support a
warm and nurturing environment required for both clients and staff.
The building program involved close
coordination with staff, governmental agencies, volunteers, and building
industry professionals to meet all regulatory requirements in an efficient
and cost effective manner.
